The internship has been amazing! I have been working on trial transcripts, and did some records investigation for the office and I am going back to the Polunsky unit, which contains Texas' death row, next week. On the weather front, it was very hot all of July, but it's cooled down quite dramatically over the last week. In fact, there was a rain storm raging all of last week - perhaps in preparation for Donald Trump's visit to Austin, to which a couple of colleagues and myself have made a tentative plan to gain entry (ironically, of course).
