The film, starring Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon, follows the story of a nun who provides comfort to a convicted killer on death row. The film draws upon an array of compelling issues such as capital punishment, redemption and justice. 'Dead Man Walking' is a screen adaptation of the non-fiction book written by Sister Helen Prejean, inspired by a true story concerning the relationship between a nun and a man sentenced to death.

Its showing on Wednesday 11th promises to inspire deeper thought and discussion into the topics raised. Please join us for what will be an informative and thought-provoking evening.

Due to limited availability, places to attend this event will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are free of charge and refreshments will be served.

Please book your (free) ticket via the Eventbrite link here.
