Amicus presents a special screening of RBG hosted by Reed Smith. Doors open at 5:30pm with raffle tickets on sale at £5 per strip (cash and card accepted). Amicus alumni Luke Varley will be hosting an introductory talk at 5:45pm: 'Fighting for Bobby’s Life: Representing a Death Penalty Case in The Supreme Court Of The United States'.

We will be screening RBG at 6:30pm: RBG chronicles the exceptional life and career of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who has developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon.The film is a biographical depiction of Ginsburg from her birth in Brooklyn, New York, her college education and subsequent career as a law professor, her appointment to the federal judiciary by President Jimmy Carter, and eventual appointment to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton.

The film screening will be followed by a drinks reception and raffle draw with amazing prizes such as real artwork from inmates on death row, 'Bridge of Spies' posters signed by Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance and a set of books by acclaimed death row authors and exonerees, to name a few.
